Brass recordings

So wow this is getting exciting. Whilst we have a few groups looking at the play and hopefully workshopping it Ash has been busy finishing the orchestrations. They are now all done (yay) and it is time to record. Well we couldn’t get everyone together so we have decided to record in parts then mix them together. Last night was the turn of the brass in our brilliantly basic home screened studio, with of course a break for curry. It was great fun recording with our friends and massive thanks go out to Mark, Mark, Geoff,John, Andy and Jason for their awesome sounds. Check out the awesome pictures. Next is the percussion and then the strings and woodwind with vocal recordings coming towards the end of April with a choir of 15 to 30 awesome singers (thanks Travis and Laura). Exciting times indeed.
